# Getting started

> From sign-up to a scored Passport

    Sign up at [app.caplia.ai](https://app.caplia.ai) with email, Google, LinkedIn, or Microsoft. If an accelerator gave you a **programme code** or invite link, use that instead: it connects you to their programme automatically (see [Link your Passport](/founder-portal/link-your-passport)).

    Iris walks you through the essentials conversationally: your one-line description, where you're based, and your fundraising timeframe. You can correct anything she gets wrong: just tell her.

      Your company description is capped at **300 characters**: it's the first thing investors read on your Passport, so keep it sharp.

  <Step title="Upload your pitch deck">
    Drop in a PDF or PowerPoint. Caplia extracts your company details, populates your Passport, and kicks off scoring automatically.

  <Step title="Review your Passport & Score">
    Within a few minutes you'll have a **Caplia Score** and a populated Passport. Head to **Investor Preview** to see exactly what investors will see, and fill any gaps the score highlights.
