# Psychometric testing

> Invite your team to a Big Five personality assessment and review the results

Psychometric testing gives every member of your founding team a personality profile across five key dimensions. Completed assessments strengthen your profile and help investors understand your leadership and team dynamics.

## Where to find it

Psychometric testing lives inside Founder Tools rather than the left sidebar. Click **Founder Tools** in the sidebar, then open the **Psychometric Testing** card. You can also go straight to `/dashboard/psychometrics`.

## Taking your own assessment

The banner at the top of the page invites you to complete your own profile. Click **Take Test** to start straight away: no invitation email needed. When you finish, your results appear alongside the rest of the team's.

## Inviting your team

    Click **Invite Someone** in the Assessments section.

    Pick a team member from the list, or invite someone new by entering their **Name**, **Email** and **Role (optional)**, then clicking **Invite to Test**. New invitees receive their test link by email.

    Each invited person gets a card with **Copy Link** and **WhatsApp** buttons, so you can nudge them through whichever channel works best. Invitees do not need a Caplia account to take the test.

Each card shows a status: **Pending** while the test is outstanding, **Completed** once it is done. A **Tests Completed** counter tracks progress across the team.

## Invite limits

Invites are limited on some plans. Where a limit applies, a **Psychometric Test Invites** meter at the top of the page shows how many you have used. Your own assessment counts towards the limit too.

Once the limit is reached, the invite and sharing buttons are disabled. Click **Upgrade to Pro** to move to a plan with unlimited psychometric test invites.

## Understanding results

When someone completes their assessment, their card shows **Big Five Traits** as percentage scores:

| **Openness**          | Curiosity and appetite for new ideas         |
| **Conscientiousness** | Organisation, discipline and follow-through  |
| **Extraversion**      | Energy drawn from people and social settings |
| **Agreeableness**     | Cooperation, trust and warmth                |
| **Neuroticism**       | Sensitivity to stress and negative emotion   |

Below the scores you may see an **Iris Summary**, a short written interpretation of the profile. For a deeper read, click **Analyse with Iris** to open [Iris](/founder-portal/iris) with the results pre-loaded: she will highlight strengths and watch-outs in the context of your company.

## Who can see results

Results appear on this page for your company's team: anyone who signs in to your founder workspace can view them. People you invite by link only take the test through their personal link; they do not get access to your workspace or to anyone else's results.
