Pipelines & stages

A pipeline is a set of stages a deal moves through (e.g. New → Screening → Meeting → Diligence → Decision, plus terminal Won/Passed stages). Teams can run several pipelines, say a deal pipeline and a programme/cohort pipeline, with stages renamed, reordered, and activated per pipeline. New deals enter at the pipeline’s first active stage. Marking a deal Won or Passed prompts for structured reasons (multi-select) and terms, which are saved as deal notes for later review.

Lists & views

Deal lists are where day-to-day screening happens:
  • Layouts: table, kanban (by stage), grouped, or cards.
  • Filters: stage, owner, source, sector, time window, office, thesis, and any custom property. A “None” option catches deals where a property isn’t set.
  • Columns: add from a large registry (score, CRI, round data, metrics, dates, Directory membership…). The column picker scrolls: everything under the Company, Round, Metrics and Outcome headings is available too.
  • User Saved Views: save any filter/column/layout combination as a named list, personal or shared with the team. Built-in lists (Deal Flow, Screening, Portfolio…) are read-only; “Save as new list” to customise.
Selecting rows opens the bulk action bar: assign an owner or office, re-score against theses, set a property, add to a directory, or remove from the pipeline in one gesture. See Properties & bulk actions.
